The Greene County Cattlemen are hosting their annual banquet Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Greene County Fairgrounds, Clover Hall. Social hour begins at 5 pm with a ribeye steak dinner to be served at 6 pm.
Following the meal, the trophy auction will be held.
Money raised at the annual banquet and trophy auction will go toward the many projects supported by the Greene County Cattlemen throughout the year. They continue to support a number of 4-H and youth activities, many important local causes and beef promotions. A scholarship program for Greene County seniors has also been expanded in recent years thanks to the generosity of donors.
The Cattlemen can also be seen throughout the county doing various cookouts.
Entry will be $25 at the door this year. As always, the public is invited to attend and the organization welcomes everyone. Persons who have any questions can contact one of the following board members: Bill Fields, Ryan Schroeder, Noah Juergensen, Patrick Minnehan, Andrew Michaelsen, Isaac Hoskins, Justin Robbins, Jonathan Marshall, Brandon Muir, Ben Gannon, or Jared Taggart.
